Background

Promise Consult International Ltd (PCI) was founded in 2009 and registered in 2011 at the Register of Companies, No. 128766 by a team of four Ugandan Professionals with extensive experience in the areas of project implementation and management. The areas of expertise range from strategic planning, rural development, public health, micro finance, monitoring and evaluation, human rights protection, poverty reduction, policy formulation, environmental conservation and organisation development.

Strategic Objectives

  • To provide consultancy services to government ministries /department, CBOs, NGOs,institutions and international agencies.
  • To promote the health, social and economic status and welfare of the poor and
    disadvantaged population in the rural and sub urban.
  • To impart knowledge and facilitate interactions amongst members of the local and international populations in health, entrepreneurship and encourage community participation in development interventions.
  • To contribute towards the overall national objective of accelerated eradication of diseases and poverty.
  • To build the client capacity in development communication for socio-economic development of most disadvantaged communities.
  • To train the local communities, local CBOs on mobilization for sustained health society that is also economically empowered.
  • To sensitize the local community on diverse civic rights, environmental concerns, primary health care, disaster preparedness, food security, sanitation, promotion of sustainable development and their obligations and role in promotion of health standards and socio-economic development at large.
  • To promote gender and community development in health and development through coordination with agencies that have projects/programme that are gender main streamed.
  • To carry out research and participate in research programs that are aimed at generating and making available to the populace, data on health and socio-economic development programmes.
